Lately I've been working hard and I dissapeared from social media. Here's an update.
The past 29 February 2109 the short film which I was honored to work at "Late Afternoon" participated at the Oscars as a nominee for best short film category. The short film had already won several festivals including Tribeca, Bucheon international Festival or Animayo, the one held at my home town.. haha that was cool!
Late Afternoon didn't win but the whole team, Louise Bagnall and Nuria Blanco at front, felt the piece is a beautiful piece and we feel very proud of what we achieved.
Right now, I'm working at the new film from the studio, Wolfwalkers, as a clean up artist. I'm learning so much in the process and from my mates! It's going to be a great movie and I'll let know here when it's released (probably around the end of 2020).
Also I'll be attending to CTN on November this year. Anybody going?

2016 starts really great!

Hi everyone!
This 2016 starts great for me. I've just finished giving my visual development and 2D animation clases at the videogame's expert at Las Palmas University (ULPGC).
A film in which I worked in some 2D animation planes has just been released. ("Embarazados", with Paco León)
And some days ago the blog "NotAnotherFashionBlog" made an alphabetical list of " the coolest female illustrators of Spain" and my work is in! Above that, the list has discovered me several great illustrators!! I really recommend taking a look at it

I'd say, I never stop working, and not lift my head much... but this past January has been heartwarming.. and give's me extra energy to continue.
I hope your 2016 is also full of work!!! Let's get back to it

This 2014 may bring lots of new work and experiences. I'm willing to relocate and I'm open to freelance / full time / part time job in 2D/ flash animation position or as illustrator or character designer. I hope 2014 bring us all good news and new projects.

Temario:
En clase dispondremos de modelos cualificados. Repasaremos un amplio espectro de poses que nos ayudarán a comprender cómo se comporta el cuerpo humano y cómo plasmarlo en el papel, perfeccionando la tridimensionalidad, línea de acción, equilibrio y peso, descripción del movimiento, perspectiva, escorzo, torsión, fuerza; haciendo incapié en las partes del cuerpo más complicadas, como manos y pies.
* actualmente contamos con Modelo femenino / Buscamos Modelo Masculino.
Dirigido a:
Público general interesado en aprender a dibujar el cuerpo humano, aficionados al dibujo o profesionales. Estas clases no requieren de conocimientos previos, trato personalizado.
Ilustradores, animadores, tatuadores, dibujantes en general que quieran mejorar su comprensión de la figura humana así como del movimiento, ganar fluidez en el trazo, peso, appeal, dominio del espacio y la postura así como suprimir la rigidez en sus dibujos. Posibilidad de asistir a clases sueltas. Muy recomendable tanto para profesionales como para dibujantes nóveles.
Debido al desnudo del modelo requerimos en caso de menores de 18 años firma y consentimiento de sus padres. Está prohibida la toma de fotografías en clase.
MATERIAL NECESARIO : Block de dibujo de páginas en blanco 297X420 aprox. Demás material facilitado en la clase.

'Naturalmente' Expo at Cafe Centr

Saborea los deliciosos platos de esta singular y acogedora cafetería al tiempo que disfrutas de " Natualmente ", una muestra de obras originales que versan sobre la naturaleza y lo que es Natural que ocurra en YesLand, un mundo en el que todo es posible.

He trabajado duro en esta expo y creo que puedo decir que es la mejor que he creado hasta el momento. Obras originales, nuevas chapitas, postales y como plato fuerte lanzamiento de mi libro de bocetos :
"YesLand Studio Sketchbook"
En un marco incomparable como lo es Café Central ...
